Kind of a grab bag here of messages from recent days that didn't come out on the statewide list (OBOL), the first one explains why:

The freelists.org administrator says there were firewall issues on their 
end, but this has been repaired and OBOL is back online.

Counted at least 370 Vaux’s Swifts going down the large white chimney behind 
the Palace Theater between 8:00 and 8:12 PM tonight. 
This is early in the migration so the numbers could get much larger.

Huddleston Fishing  Pond had a Green Heron and a Black Phoebe and lots of
VG and Barn Swallows, and Vaux's Swifts.  I saw at least six VASW at one
time there today
