[midvalleybirds] Fwd: Long-eared Owl near Coffin Butte quarry

The description sounds good but this is a very strange situation for a Long-eared Owl during daylight hours. Presumably it got spooked out of a nearby daytime roost, so I wouldn't expect it to stay in this location. -- joel
