With a number of singing CAFI in the noble fir grove near the top there were many lazuli buntings in song (which was a surprise) as well as the usual raucous white-crowned sparrows. Plus a olive-sided flycatcher and a sooty grouse still bumping the air. Ravens clasped in midair and did the spinning ball of feathers and later a loner was observed carrying food. Hermit Thrush and chipping sparrows added their two cents worth.

The flowers are still in grand form.
