On Finley today there were approx. 12 greater yellowlegs and 2 lesser yellowlegs, nearly all at the north end of the refuge in the newer conservation wetland area to the NE of the obs. deck. They were with one dunlin and 4 long-billed dowitchers that probably wintered in the WV. One white-tailed kite was on the prairie to the south of the deck as were 2 rough-legged hawks.

At Philomath ponds a mini wad of gulls consisted of 2 mew, 2 California, and around 11 ring-billed. And the fox and Lincoln's sparrow are still eating free seed.
