I took a lunchtime walk at Sunset Park today.

Yellow-rumped Warblers were singing. I had a close encounter with a
Ruby-crowned Kinglet, where I got yo see his little ruby crest. He then let
out a few short spurts of song. A nearby Brown Creeper sang too.

There were at least 5 Wood Ducks in the flooded ash swale. There some
mallards, a female Hooded Merganser, a Great Blue Heron and a Great Egret.
