On Finley Rd. this morning, the conservation wetland just at the refuge entrance had many Dunlin and Least Sandpipers. One Greater Yellowlegs was in a pond on the north side of the road.
At Cabell Marsh, the large log in the middle had 112 Dunlin. Not much else on the marsh, a few ducks and geese, some swans.
At the field just east of the turn-in for Woodpkr. Loop, there is an elk carcass on the north side of the field. Today visitors photographed a Bobcat feeding on the carcass.
At the Philomath Sewage Ponds, about 150 Dunlin were in the NW pond.
