It is a Hooded Oriole! I would guess a first year male transitioning into adult plumage?
(I spent a couple of weeks in May in So. California that included observing both mature and first year male Hooded Orioles.)

Subject: [birding] probable RBA: Hooded Oriole?

Hey friends,

I've got an unusual Oriole around my yard. It likes to sit on my
hummingbird feeders. It has a long, curved bill, black on its throat that
doesn't extend behind the eye, and a fairly deep yellow color that doesn't
really turn white in the belly like I would expect on a young Bullock's
Oriole.  I'm not positive on the ID though, so I'd love to hear your
thoughts.  Immature Hooded Oriole maybe?
