I went down to Eagle Marsh at Ankeny NWR this morning for a brief look.
There were two Pectoral Sandpipers on the near side of the marsh (reported
previously), along with several LB Dowitchers, Greater Yellowlegs, Least
Sandpipers and a couple Western Sandpipers. There were also 4 American
Pelicans, several Great Egrets and many, many ducks, mostly Mallards.
