[birding] Late Merlin: Silverton Marion County

Hi Birders,
 
There was a MERLIN that briefly landed in a neighbor's Douglas-Fir at around 7:45 A.M. this morning.  I would hazard a guess that it was a female because of the large size compared to a WESTERN SCRUB-JAY that was in the same tree and that was none to happy to see the Merlin.  According to BOGR this a rather late individual.
