[birding] local bird questions

Rich -

 

1. We had 2-3 singing male Vesper Sparrows at Fitton Green on June 20th,
2009.  We haven't been up there lately to check this year.

 

3.  We saw a Purple Martin at McFadden Marsh on Sunday (5/23) afternoon.

 

4. The last time we checked the Dunn Forest Purple Martin nest tree off
Tampico Rd was May 9th.  We heard a Purple Martin flying overhead that
evening but it did not go to the nest tree while we were there.

2. or is there any other reliable place in benton county for them?

3. i saw report of PURPLE MARTIN at cabell. are they using the nest boxes
molly put up? 

4. has anyone checked the location off tampico rd where they nested last
year?

5. is there any other reasonable place in benton to look for AMERICAN
BITTERN besides mcfaddin marsh?

6. i think i can find tristen CASSIN'S VIREO, but if you know a good benton
county spot i am interested.
