My apologies for the last minute notice but if anyone is interested, there's an event being held at Baskett Slough today from 8:30-2 called Birds and Butterflies. It is celebrating our pollinators in action and we're hoping to see some butterflies flying on the butte! There are guided hikes at 8:30, 10:30 and 12:30 up on Baskett Butte and possibly one down to the marshes nearby. Booths and fun kid activities will also be provided. The National Pollinator Week posters are gorgeous this year, come and get yours!
The event will be held at the Baskett Butte parking area on Coville Rd, off of 99W just north of Hwy 22 and Rickreall.
Hope to see you out there!
Molly Monroe
