[birding] Female Bullock's Oriole

Hi all,

This morning I was outside doing chores and listening for Willow
Flycatchers in our back yard (due any day now, but I haven't heard one
yet) when I noticed a female BULLOCK'S ORIOLE as she flew to an apple
tree that's flowering up the ridge. She appeared to nectar on (or pick
insects out of?) the apple blossoms. Then she flew up into a very tall
black cottonwood and disappeared into the foliage -- looks like a
possible nesting location.

Happy birding,
Joel
