[birding] Finley Thursday

Walked Mill Hill, Beaver Pond, Pigeon Butte, Cabell Marsh, Bald Top,
Woodpecker Loop circuit at Finley this morning.

Western Wood-Pewee: several along Mill Hill trail and HQ, several sites as
morning progressed
Swainson's Thrush: call-note heard on west end of Mill Hill trail and at
Beaver Pond
Gray Jay: ghosted across Mill Hill trail about a hundred yards past the
thrushes
Wilson's Phalarope: in grass field north of Pigeon Butte where road takes
dog leg east, then north to Cabell
Ruby-crowned Kinglet: in thicket along Mill Hill trail behind the equipment
barn at HQ, my latest sighting in Benton county
Lazuli Bunting: several sites
Yellow-breasted Chat: Bald Top, not nearly the presence here as at E.E.
Wilson yesterday
