Thanks Don for the mention of my little swift watch party Saturday night -  front page in the Albany newspaper today!  Despite a couple of minor errors, it is a very nice little article.  Mostly, I'm pleased that the hotel owner would never think of messing with the chimney now!  I'm going to try to do this in Lebanon in both fall and spring.

pss:  Funny story - the Albany reporter got it into his head to go change his lens at 8:45pm and missed the entire entrance (8:47-8:49pm).  A freind and I went back last night (Monday) at 8:25pm and the photographer was there desperately trying to get his picture, and guess what - because of the cold they had already gone in (except for 2 that went in while we watched).  Thus the picture of just swifts in the sky.  Poor guy...

We're probably going to pop over Tuesday night around 8:00pm just to see what's up - seems like they are on their way out.
