Hi all, At 9:30 Sunday morning, a Barred Owl was vocalizing in McDonald Forest, near the upper third of the Extendo Trail. Alas, the Hooded Warblers that were reported in abundance the day before were not to be seen. I did not hike any higher than the top of Uproute Trail, however. Pam
