Finally some nice weather so Wayne and I went out Friday and had a good
outing with our cameras- and with the smaller birds- warblers, wrens,
blackbirds, etc. sitting for photos, along with one large frog I was finally
able to get the pictures I've wanted of a number species-
Wilson's warbler-

A Bewick's Wren with bug-

A Song Sparrow in his/her Western form-

Yellow rumped Warbler- Western (I've heard Audubon's mentioned too- which
one is this?) http://www.flickr.com/photos/rushhourphoto/4587870631/sizes/l/
and http://www.flickr.com/photos/rushhourphoto/4587869789/sizes/l/
This warbling vireo liked to stay in the shade-

These, along with the Bushtits were all near the blind by McFadden's Marsh-
the video of the Bushtits would suggest they have young in the nest- this
can be viewed in HD also- (short video)

At Turtle Flats we caught up to some yellow throats that finally showed
themselves- I've heard them often but they seem hard to find-

About a half mile east was this guy, sitting in the road!

Except for the video, all those photos above and more are at
http://www.flickr.com/photos/rushhourphoto/sets/72157604399254770/ It may
be easier for some to just start there and view what you'd like to see. I
feel very forunate to have had such a good day! Next, a group of four of us
head off to Malheur. I'm hoping for the English version of the word as
"malheur" means misfortune in French!
