[birding] "Dammond's" Flycatcher

Hi all,

This morning an Empidonax flycatcher was in small oaks and poison-oak
scrub just above our backyard. It didn't vocalize, and I never got a
good enough angle on the bill and primary extension to make a good guess
if it was a Dusky (my best hunch) or a Hammond's, so I'm leaving it as a
"DAMMOND'S" FLYCATCHER.

I gave some thought to Gray due to the habitat, a dose of wishful
thinking, and since it was very grayish (maybe due to bright sunlight).
However the main tail action was a quick upward flick with a slow
downward return.

Happy birding,
Joel
