Ken Hilton and I were on Mary's Peak this morning. A couple of Red
Crossbills and a few Evening Grosbeaks were circulating, but overall it was
pretty quiet. Near the summit, however, a CHUKAR ambled across the road.
http://picasaweb.google.com/proebstw/MarySPeakChukar# Is this a released
bird? Do Chukars peregrinate?
Back home, I was having a cup of tea on the deck and spotted an
Orange-crowned Warbler leave the Red-flowering Currant near me and work the
cherry blossoms a little further away.
