Hope you can get out to Finley soon. You might get to see an assortment of birds such as we saw today:

	At McFadden Marsh:
	green-winged teal (lots)
	American wigeon (lots)
ring necked ducks (quite a few)
	2 pair wood ducks
(most of the ducks seemed to be paired up)
	lesser scaup (a few)
	northern pintail ducks (few)
	bald eagle (one adult)

	At Prairie overlook:
	2 northern harriers
3 western meadowlarks (a life bird for me though I've lived in Oregon 32 years, oh well there are always holes in the list to fill)
	immature bald eagle

	By the main bathrooms:
	more ring necked ducks

	On pond by Headquarters:
	 hooded mergansers (pair)

	Almost everywhere:
	Mallards (uncountable)

It's great to Get Out There
Patti
