[birding] Spring migration calendar

Hi again folks,

Not sure if I can send an attachment here, so please let me know if this
doesn't go through.

The attached color-coded "calendar" shows expected arrival dates for
spring migrants in the Corvallis (green), Eugene (magenta), and Portland
(blue) areas. This is based on phenologies compiled by Alan McGie (for
the Corvallis-Albany area), Tom Mickel (for Eugene-Springfield), and
Adrian & Christopher Hinkle (for the Portland metro area).

With the changes in Oregon Field Ornithologist's (OFO's) website, there
is no longer an easy place for me to post this on the web, so I hope
that this goes through. If you don't receive it via the Midvalley list,
let me know and I'll be happy to send you a copy by direct e-mail.

As you can see, Orange-crowned Warblers and Ospreys are due any day
now ... and by the end of next week, migration really kicks in, with a
new species expected practically every day.
