[birding] Eagles working together

I'm sure some of you veteran birders have either witnessed or heard of
eagles working together on a hunt but this is the first for me! I was with
Dave and Wayne at Finley around 12:30 yesterday (Wednesday) and witnessed a
juvenile eagle knock a goose out of the air and into McFadden Marsh. Quickly
afterwards FIVE other eagles, including one adult joined in and they circled
overhead, each taking a turn at trying to get the goose! Finally, after a
number of strikes and a couple of 'carries and drops' the goose was dead.
They made a couple of attempts to get it to shore then left it in the marsh
as two stayed for a while, seeming to wait for it to blow to shore (it was
quite windy- and cold!). Finally the last one left too. Later, we saw one
fly over the marsh again but continued on and left. My photos are at
