[birding] White goose Ankeny WR

Yesterday afternoon I was driving home from Portland and decided to drive the loop at Ankeny to see how many swallows were around.  At Eagle Marsh there were a few, far out over the marsh.

On the southern portion of Wintell RD to the east was a large flock of geese.  One white goose appeared to me a Ross, however I didn't have binoculars with me and it could have been a snow goose.  It was only about 120 feet from the road.  It appeared to be near the same size as the  cacklers surrounding it maybe a little smaller.  The head appeared rounded, I couldn't make out a grin patch, but it really was too far to tell with my nacked eye.
