[birding] osprey nest?

Frank Isaacs, eagle researcher, says that a nest on a wooden platform
suggests an osprey, not eagle nest. Juvenile and subadult eagles are
quite common this time of year in that area.
I concur that it is unwise to broadcast nest locations publicly,
particularly falcon nests, but if anyone finds an active eagle nest,
previously unknown to the eagle watchers, Isaacs would like to know. As
for eagle nest viewing opportunities, I'd check with National Wildlife
Refuge personnel.
