Hi Joel,

I didn’t notice anyone respond to Rick Hale in Albany about a bald eagle
nest.  I saw one at Snag Boat Bend (10.8 mi. south of Hwy 34 off Peoria
Road, on the right) a couple weeks ago while on a Sierra Club walk.  We
walked about 2 miles beyond the boardwalk, keeping to the right on the
trail and on the left side of the path, on a high wooden platform there
was a big nest and two juvenile bald eagles were flying around in the
vicinity.  Although I’m not an expert birder, I suspect that they had
fledged from that nest. 

I thought you might want to post it.
