Hi all,

In another batch of riparian bird surveys on the upper Luckiamute
watershed (Plunkett Creek in Beazell Memorial Forest Park, Luckiamute
River at Ft. Hoskins, Ritner Creek Park near Pedee, and Pedee Creek
along Bald Mountain Rd.), the most notable bird was a RUFFED GROUSE
drumming again at the top end of the Plunkett Creek trail in Beazell.

However, for density & diversity of riparian songbirds, it would be hard
to top the point right at the entrance to Ft. Hoskins Park, which
apparently was right at the edge of territories for WARBLING VIREOS,
BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLERS, PACIFIC-SLOPE FLYCATCHERS, WILSON'S
WARBLERS, and SWAINSON'S THRUSHES among others.

Happy birding,
Joel
