[birding] another unusual bird in my yard

Hi all,

I still keep hoping and watching for the Rose-Breasted Grosbeak to return,
but, alas.

There was an interesting newcomer, though, a Rosy Finch or possibly Cassin's
Finch this morning at the same bird feeder the RB Grosbeak was.

This bird came and went several times early this morning, (Thurs.) along
with some BH Grosbeaks. This time, I got my camera, but was unable to get a
decent picture.

It had an all over rosy wash to it, but I couldn't get a great look at the
head to pronounce it a Cassin's. More than likely, it was a Rosy Finch - if
it returns, I'll be ready!

Otherwise, the regulars - Towhees, Juncoes, Stellar Jays, Crows, BC
Chickadees, D. Woodpeckers, BT Pigeons, Rufous Hummers, and a quick glimpse
of a P. Woodpecker.

I hope the forecasted great weather this weekend brings us all some good
birds!
