Just had reports from our manager at Ankeny that he is seeing four WHITE-FACED IBIS in Egret Marsh at Ankeny NWR. Sounds like they may be difficult to view from the blind as they're on the far north end of the flooded marsh so I'd recommend walking in from the Pintail Marsh parking area to the east around Frog Pond (photo blind), to get to the Egret dike and hike in to where they are viewable.
Happy birding,
Molly~
