tristen, austin booth, gail andrews, & i did a late afternnon on finley road.
1. we sort of probably maybe heard cassin's vireo near the muddycreek crossing, but very uncooperative. there were many swainson's thrushes, pewees, and waxwings, a couple wilson's warblers.
2. boardwalk trail to cabell had very little, but we did see an adult bald eagle fly low through the woods - an interesting place for it.
3. cabell had 2 WHITE PELICANS, but no purple martins. we heard a chat and a willow flycatcher along with the normal marsh wrens and yellowthroats.
4. note to molly monroe - there are starlings nesting in the lower left martin box and possibly the lower right one as well.
5. we did not find the mockingbird that was reported at least twice, but not in a while.
