[birding] Willamette Park yesterday

I went for a quick walk with my fiance and our dog at Willamette Park 
yesterday and there was an abundance of birds. We walked south of the 
parking lot past the sewage treatment plant to the end of the trail and 
back. There were lots of SPOTTED TOWHEEs in the blackberry brambles. 
Right before coming out into the grassy area I heard a PACIFIC-SLOPE 
FLYCATCHER give its "tseeweep" call which to me sounds sort of like 
someone whistling at their dog to come but very muted. Thats a year bird 
for me but I'm not sure if I should count it since I didn't see it. In 
the willows along the river in the grassy area I saw a YELLOW-BREASTED 
CHAT fly up out of the willows in its very distinct way of flight. Also 
present at the park were CEDAR WAXWINGS, WESTERN TANANGERS and lots of 
other birds I didn't identify because I didn't have my binoculars.
