[birding] Geese

They are probably a family or two of resident "Western" Canada Geese (B. c. moffitti), the large ones who stick around for the summer and breed here.  The youngsters are grown up now, so they're free to fly from place to place, becoming more visible (and audible, with deep, resonant honks).
