[birding] summer snipe

Yesterday I flushed a WILSONS SNIPE from a large restored wetland on private land southwest of Junction City.  I don't know if it bred there, but in recent decades they have become a very rare breeder in the Willamette Valley, and this summertime observation, if not an early migrant or nonbreeder, is suggestive.  Also flushed 2 PEEP sp.
