Hi Birders,

I am working on writing an article on Christmas Bird Count (CBC) maps for
Oregon Birds. I would like to know what is the main map that is used for
each CBC (Silverton's CBC originally used some old County Maps but now it
uses DeLorme and Google Earth/Maps). If the map being used is not
copyrighted or is public domain I would like to a have scan of the map. The
scan will possibly be included in the article. I would also like to know
the exact center each CBC because many of the CBC centers given on the
official website are off, and I would like to know the average number of
sectors in each CBC. Any other information on CBC maps would be
appreciated.

This is a list of links I found very helpful when trying to make a CBC map
on Google Earth/Maps (the last one is actually the result of following some
of the instructions).

Here is a link on how to make a CBC map on Google Earth.
