[birding] Re: Red-shouldered Hawk at Sunset Park

     The Red-shouldered Hawk continues to frequent Sunset Park.  He was on the large snag directly over the boardwalk this morning around 10 when I walked over to see what was around.  No Mergansers that I could see on the pond, just many Mallards and a few Widgeon.  There were perhaps 25 or 30 Yellow-rumped Warblers flycatching in the trees along the creek.   In the seedy, weedy area at the beginning of the boardwalk I saw a White-throated Sparrow in a group of White-crowneds.  Anna's hummer buzzing nearby.  No mergies over at the Starker Pond, either.  DC Cormorant still hanging there with the trash ducks, and a large (40) crowd of Widgeon.  Later, I saw the RSHA on a light pole from Technology Loop at the Nypro plant.
