Hi folks,
Taking a quick break from a deadline task, I finally got to see my first
swallows of the year, as five TREE SWALLOWS flew *south* over the south
end of E.E. Wilson, heading on into Adair Village under unsettled skies.
Along the south boundary of E.E. Wilson I saw an interesting Fox Sparrow
that I'd like to get another look at, once I get this report out of the
way. Lots of white on belly, reddish tail, sort of grayish head. It
might be a ssp. altivagans Slate-colored Fox Sparrow. No time to give
directions now but I expect that the bird will stick around for a second
look tomorrow.
Happy birding,
Joel
