[birding] saw-whet owls

mary garrard & i went to wilamette park at 7 last night hoping for owls. we heard 2 (probably 3) NORTHERN SAW-WHET OWLS. we got close to one but never saw any. we parked at the boat ramp and walked the path on the river side of the soccer fields. the owls were calling between there and the river.
