1. since nanette & clint went skiiing, and since yesterday was still the
great backyard thing, and since the weather was nice, i headed out for a
few hours to south corvallis area
2. philomath ponds
    a. 2 EURASIAN WIGEON
    b. many more wigeon and green-winged teal than before
    c. as you enter just before the inside gate there is a ditch to the
west of the trees that had 250 ducks including 1 of the eurasians
    d. 9 BALD EAGLES (2 adult) because od dead sheep
    e. 28 RAVENS (same reason)
3. evergreen wetlands (or whatever they are called - a little west of
ponds
    a. lots of pintails, teal, wigeon 
    b. more water than before so worth checking
4. sunset/starker park
    a. 1 cormorant
    b. about 30 yellow-rumped warblers (at least 1 myrtle)
    c. 1 kingfisher
    d. 2 lesser goldfinches
    e. 1 pine siskin hanging out with a couple american goldfinches
5. across street from fairgrounds
    a. more than normal acorn woodpeckers - obviously hanging in there
well considering all the starlings in the area
