Thank you, both Jim and Joel, for your past, current, and future efforts to keep this going!

Hello all,
Just to keep everyone informed, I've been in touch with Jim Norton about
keeping the Midvalley list running after Jim moves to Houston.
Don Baccus in Portland has volunteered space on his server to run both
the Midvalley list and a couple of Corvallis Audubon lists that Jim was
also hosting. I'll take on day-to-day admin chores to keep the lists
running.
The changeover will happen over the next week or so. Jim has already
transferred the web domain, so the next step will be to move the files
to Don's server. Timing depends on Jim's moving schedule, which sounds
like it might be accelerating.
I'd like to thank Jim for the great service that he's provided by
hosting and managing this list. It's really done wonders to bring
together birders in our area.
Jim, we all owe you a big favor!
I *do* have a pickup. So if you need help hauling anything in the final
days of your move, let me know. In particular, I'm very conveniently
located for the inevitable run to the dump/recycling center!
Cheers,
Joel
