Sorry for this belated report.

On Friday at noon there was a handsome male EURASIAN WIGEON at Stewart Lake (HP), in Corvallis.

Also noted was a female Ruddy Duck, first of the fall-winter season at HP.

Other waterfowl present:
Lesser Scaup
Bufflehead
Ring-necked Duck
American Wigeon
Northern Shoveler
Cackling Goose'
Canada Goose
D-c Cormorant
American Coot
Pied-billed Grebe

An Anna's Hummingbird is often seen along the trail by the northeast corner of the lake. A Red-breasted Sapsucker is also sometimes in the same area; it has sap wells in the 2 redwoods and some of the deciduous trees that are on top of the berm, along the fenceline. The Anna's also visits some of the sap wells.
