I went with Wayne to Finley on Friday to check the bushtit nest again.
There is a very short clip of the male inside building the nest and then
exiting which can be viewed in HD.

While down at the blind by McFadden's Marsh, after seeing a couple of eagles
fly over, nine juveniles took flight over the field east of that area
towards the train tracks. They flew as a group and began all kinds of aerial
acrobatics! After they finally left the area we went over to the area just
west of McFadden's Marsh and found two juvenile eagles there watching some
carp span. We wondered if they'd go after one but they never did. All the
eagle photos are at, the first 21 or so are from Friday.
