Willamette Park near Corvallis – Watched an empidonax flycatcher for
10-15 minutes with all the characteristics of Hammond’s and then as I
was leaving it called with characteristic peep notes. Single
Black-throated Gray Warbler, several Orange-crowned Warblers, and
numerous Common Yellowthroats.
Avery Park near Corvallis – Hutton’s Vireo building nest, flock of 10-15
Orange-crowned Warblers with a couple Townsend’s Warblers and also a
Sharp-shinned hawk in flight overhead.
