[birding] Finley

Yesterday, April 1st, I took a break from work and drove out to Finley. When
you turn off 99 onto Finley, the field on your left still had
the juvenile BALD EAGLES (5) feeding on the carcasses. I also saw a pair of
NORTHERN HARRIERS (male & female) off of 99 and Lewellyn.
I think I finally saw the return of the OSPREYS to their nest that is
directly across from Ray's Fruit Stand on HWY34. If you stand at the
driveway entrance, and look North in the field across 34, the nest is on top
of the power pole. Like I said, I think, because it was raining hard when I
drove past the other day. I saw one bird...I think. I'll stop the car next
time and see with the binos.
