[birding] last saturday

1. only 3 people showed up for the corvallis audubon all day birding trip.
2. we decided to try for the wheatear and hudsonian godwit and bird the coast some. the wheatear was gone and the godwit was either gone or taking a break so we missed both of them.
3. however, it weas a georgeous day on the coast studying gulls and scoters and super close looks at surfbirds and black turnstones.
