[birding] Corvallis Red-shouldered Hawk

Hello,

On Saturday, Lisa and I were on a walk to the Dunawi Creek Community Garden. We walked on the wetland boardwalk at Sunset Park but didn't see any shorebirds. Along Dunawi Creek, a bunch of Bushtits were making alarm calls. When we went to check it out, a juvenile RED-SHOULDERED HAWK flew westward along the apartments. A new neighborhood bird for us! There was also the usual BELTED KINGFISHER but we didn't see the Green Heron that is often spotted there.
