I've seen a partial-albino Turkey Vulture before too - it had lots of white throughout the wings and back. They do exist!

Subject: [birding] strange Turkey Vulture at Finley
There was an adult Turkey Vulture at Finley NWR this morning that seemed to have an unusual whitish patch/patches on its tail and/or wing. It was perched and preening in an unusual posture so it was hard to figure out. It first caught my eye as some sort of bird with a large white tail patch and I was really surprised when it turned out to be a Turkey Vulture. I didn't have my binocs so I took a bunch of pictures and reviewing them, I can't imagine how the white features could be sun glint from normal plumage. It was perched in a snag west of the barn that is north across the street from the old headquarters building. I'm going to revisit the same spot tomorrow morning, and if I see it again I will stick around till it flies, since I now believe it is really rather unusual.
Other highlights from Finley this AM- -5 otters playing around at Cabell marsh-- an egret catching a fish in perfect time with my camera shutter at McFadden marsh-- several White Pelicans still at Cabell marsh....
