[birding] Re: Finley jackrabbit

I have seen at least a few annually as I am driving along Bellfountain Road through the Christmas tree farms between Philomath and Alpine. There was one year where reproduction must have been spectacularly high . . . perhaps 2000 or 2001 when I saw dozens.

We've seen jackrabbits at the tree farm on at least three occasions, also on the side along Bellfountain Rd.  One time one was dead on Bruce Rd. :-(
