Hi folks,

Just a couple of notable birds seen this morning on my way home from
returning a cement mixer to the rental place in Corvallis:

A WESTERN MEADOWLARK flew over Independence Hwy at the BPA powerline
about 2 miles N of Hwy 22. This location doesn't have suitable habitat
for nesting birds, so presumably this was a recently arrived wintering
bird.

Just north of there, a PEREGRINE FALCON was winging over the east end of
Ryals Rd.

Happy birding,
Joel
