[birding] saturday

1. this saturday is the 2nd saturday of the month corvallis audubon 1/2 day field trip.
2. Meet at Benton Center 757 NW Polk Ave at 7:30 AM to carpool.  Bring Binoculars, water, and sturdy shoes for the walk along a local birding trail. 
3. i will be leading again this week.
4. so far i have no idea where to go. we could try mary's peak and look for cassin's finch, townsend's solitaire, and maybe something else that might have come from leaving the snow in bend. or we could try e e wilson and look for shorebirds and sparrows. i am interested in opinions from those planning to go.
5. the weather forcast looks very good for birds - very cold in the morning (probably 35 at 730) and clear all day.
