[birding] Albany: hundreds of swifts

At the Albany Train Station (bus stop) I saw a stream of Vaux's Swifts
heading south. I followed the stream to the Fire Station where the swifts
were "boiling" out the chimney. The sky was filled with swifts, hundreds
of them! After about ten minutes they stopped emerging and began flocking
in a vortex around chimney's apex. There could have been more than a
thousand swifts associated with this event but I was unable to observe it
from beginning to end. After all, I do have to get some work done.  ;-)
