[birding] philomath/finley

1. i lead a group of retirees on a beginning bird trip to philomath sewage ponds and bruce road this morning.
2. philomath had
    a. 2 WESTERN GREBES (seen well enough to know they were not clark's)
    b. 1 EARED GREBE
    c. a few BUFFLEHEAD including at least 2 males
    d. a few scaup that i did not study trying to show 15 people with 2 scopes, but the couple i looked at were lessers
    e. the usual hundreds of shovelers and coots and 20+ ruddy ducks
    f. 1 adult BALD EAGLE perched for all to see.
3. bruce road now has good numbers of canada (including dusky) and cackling geese
    a. 1 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE at mcfaddin
    b. 3 great egrets
