[birding] White Pelicans over Philomath last weekend

Hi folks,

Christie Weigel with Corvallis Tourism was outside at her place in
Philomath this past weekend and saw 12-15 American White Pelicans
gliding over from south to north. She and a friend were able to get good
looks at the bills through the binoculars, and had them in view for a
long time -- good description.

Sounds like a flock is back in the mid-valley again this year.
